A new game that will involve real-time strategy will soon be available in early 2018. RocketWerkz, the game developer, partners up with Zen Studio to release Out of Ammo on PlayStation VR.
Zen Studio’s first work in this new publishing scheme involves bringing indie PC games into consoles. This work includes Out of Ammo among with some others coming along the way. RocketWerkz is even optimistic that console gamers will love Out of Ammo just as the people in Steam do.
Zen Studio’s work here is to convert this PC game for console gaming. They target small game titles that aren’t backed by the mainstream developers. Furthermore, they pick the games that they will convert very carefully.
Another factor as to why Out of Ammo was considered was due to its game performance in virtual reality. In playing the game on Steam, the player will have to own an HTC Vive or other VR headset to play the Out of Ammo. Thus, it’s not unthinkable that the game will also perform well on PlayStation VR. On Steam, players rated the game at 87% or “Very Positive.”
Gameplay of Out of Ammo
In playing the game, you, as the player, will assume the position of a commander. Then, you get to command your soldiers to defend your base and get ready for enemy ambushes!
The game involves freeplay environments from urban to natural landscapes. The main idea of doing this game is to make strategies to protect your base. Out of Ammo also offers other game modes or missions that don’t involve commanding a unit. Players will also get to be first-person shooters as a sniper or as a soldier trying to survive until rescue comes!
Gamers who will pre-order the game for PlayStation VR will also receive a free CastleStorm VR for PS4. This game is not like the Out of Ammo VR’s gameplay, but it also involves strategies and shooting.
